Just add some hot peppers to any peanut butter cookie recipe. I used 6 Thai chilis and a cayenne (all fresh, from Clio & Andy's garden) for a double-batch of the recipe on the back of a jar of Jif extra-crunchy. I removed the seeds from the peppers, then diced them very fine and added them to the cookie dough before I added the dry ingredients. They came out great -- a hint of heat, some cookies hotter than others due to the not-homogeneous distribution of the peppers.
